Backbrace Bowling

Today, I went to a Bowling center with my class - and my backbrace on!
I haven't played bowling for about two years and by wearing that plastic thing it became a whole new experience.
Although I've already got used to my new "friend" very well, there was still some unpleasant pressure on my basin.

But the big surprise: The first time I throwed the bowling ball, it was a strike  - and in the end, I was the second best of my team!

While wearing this thing...
...you can play bowling!

My first check-up

Today I was in the hospital again because I had a check-up at 9 clock.
The first thing I had in the ...

Corset-workshop, where my corset was a bit changed.
It took about twenty minutes, during which I sat with my father in the room where I had put on
first my corset. I passed the time counting tiles, looking at the catalog of patterns for corsets, walk around and talk with my father. Finally, when the man returned with my corset. He said to me that had changed the corset in the chest area and inserted a new pad . He also made me a line at the point where I have to pull it up.
Then we were directed to the...

X-ray, where I was x-rayed with my corset. That was very quickly. The woman sent me back out and said I should wait until they said that we can go. So we waited. And waited ... and at some point the woman came and said: "Oh yes, by the way, you can go now ." She had forgotten to send us away. Well, then my father and I had to log in again and wait again. I played a game on his cell phone and read already determined for the hundredth time my records about my scoliosis (which we collect in a plastic film), then we finally went to the ...

Doctor who showed us the pictures of my spine. And the great news: My scoliosis has improved within six weeks from 42 ° to 27 ° - 15 ° for a total! This is really a big improvement! Then the doctor wanted to measure my size, and even sent us back down to the workshop, there's something needed to be corrected on my corset. This time should watch the chef-corset-maker at my corset.
Overall, however, the waiting time should be 1 hour, then went to get my father and I to the canteen. A hot chocolate, a lunchbox and a chocolate  muffin later we were again present at the workshop. But since we had  experienced, the chief today could not receive any other patient because he had too much to do. This meant making another  appointment ...

Well, that was my little trip to the hospital. Towards the end of the sixth lesson I came into the class and so I could still learn a bit...

Corset = Monster ... I = Monster?

Today was my first day of school with a corset. I knew that some would notice that anything has changed in me, for example, that my left shoulder was higher up than the right, or something strange out standing at my shoulder blade. Well, in fact, my premonition was fulfilled.
A couple of my girlfriends I had always been told from the corset (one had seen it even in the holidays). Some were boxing against it - and shook her aching hand. Another girl who was sitting behind me got totally the shock when she saw that something was out on my left shoulder. When I told her she called me even as "Alien". That was sort of the worst comment that depending on my corset (and me) was made.
I wanted to put it right behind me, to tell the whole class of my corset, so there are no more misunderstandings. In the sports locker (where I take off my corset) my classmates will know about it anyway.

But before that happens, I want to first write down a little comparison here, for those who can not really understand my life with the corset:

In principle, a corset is like a fixed brace. In the beginning it hurts, and it interferes with one totally you can not really eat with it (in my case, run, sleep, etc.). But sometime if they decline, you have beautiful straight teeth, and you're glad that you did it, pain or not.
The corset is bigger, but you can remove it. In the beginning I hated it.
But it's easier when you try to accept it as his friend, even if it may sound absurd now.

The question is how you see the situation: either it makes you
monster - or you make the corset to the monster.
Both are no good attitude. Attempts to befriend the corset - it will be with you a few years of your life, as well as the braces.

New year, new start ...

Yeah, I've finally managed to sleep with the corset!
And more good news:
Tomorrow I travel to Bad Saarow on Scharmützelsee, a spa resort.
I live there for three days (for the first time in my life) in a suite in a 4-star hotel.
Next door there is a large spa.
This is great! Finally get out of Berlin! *-*

Some days later...

Well, tomorrow is also going to school again. A new year begins, unlike ever before:

1st I have a corset that I will wear in every lesson except sports...

2nd New subjects take place - and some disappear from the old schedule ...

3rd New teachers - more or less well - teach us...

Well, and you will find things even more determined that apply to you.
My vacation was very relaxing way. Bad Saarow is a wonderful, quiet place, with a lovely promenade by the lake, where you can smell freshly mown grass and hear the wind rustling in the trees. From the apartment you already saw the Scharmützel-lake glisten in the sun ... *-*...
The time spent without a corset, I usually was in the spa next to our hotel.
In the park I've also been lucky enough to watch a whole swan family at close range, among other things,
as the swan parents have hissed a dog...
